Property Legal Affairs Manager
2. Job Responsibilities
- Be responsible for all legal affairs on behalf of Super8 Property Development
- Work closely with the DBD of Wyndham Asia Pacific, FA of Wyndham in Parsippany and VP, to ensure our business strategies, investment, operations and other activities are consistent with Corporate legal requirements and in full compliance with PRC laws/regulations
- Involve drafting in English and Chinese, and the negotiation of various commercial contracts, including leases, joint venture agreements, vendor agreements, as well as mergers and acquisition
- Provide all legal support to assure the property development in a legally effective and efficient manner, focusing on practical solutions to development issues
- Be responsible for all legal activities, policies, practices, and standards of Super8 and managing issues related to company’s legal matters about property development, financing
- Review materials of potential property
- Oversee property development process to make sure all procedures are followed
- Oversee property development database to make sure it’s always updated
- Work with lawyers and solve problems when there are legal related issues with property development
3. Experience, Skills and Competencies
- With LLB, LLM is preferred Fluent English and Mandarin in writing and speaking
- At least 7 years as a full Chinese lawyer, of which 2 years at a senior level, ideally with several years of in-house experience
- Experience in dealing with legal entities trading, sales, real estate, retailer, and customer, issues, prior experience in property development
- Experience in dealing with acquisitions, financing and real estate matters in a multinational company or lawyer firm
- Strong interpersonal communication skills- Master of Word, Excel, Outlook, basic knowledge of Access (skillful in Access is a preference)- Professional, efficient, accurate, careful, organized, responsible
